photo huseby_zps153c6857.jpg From Copenhagen city with a few hours of train traveling we arrived to the lovely summerhouse in Sweden, were I stayed for four days. We couldn't have gotten luckier with the weather, it was full sunshine and around 25°C degrees every day. Our days looked pretty much like this; ate delicious cookings ala Fiona's mom, sunbathed and in the evenings we hung out at the cool jacuzzi. One day we even visited a little place called Huseby, where they had beautiful gardens and cute little bridges.
The extended weekend was the most perfect getaway if you ask me!

I've been busier than busy to take everything out of my vacation and so far I've had the best time.
Last week me and my dear friend spent a day in Copenhagen. We arrived there early in the morning so a chocolate croissant and a tea was needed. After we had enjoyed our breakfast we started our shopping round in the city. Didn't go crazy, but a few things got to come home with me. After shopping and walking around in the beautiful city it was time to go to the train station were our trip would continue. More of that later...

As promised, here's the pictures from my weekend trip to Stockholm. Everyone who's been following my blog for a little longer probably knows that I'm a sucker for this city, I just love it so much and I visit there quite often. This time with my best friend. Our weekend went by shopping, lunching, cafe hopping, partying and at Ellie Goulding's concert. She was great, I absolutely love her unique voice! I had the most fun time on this trip, I wish it would be possible to do these kind of getaways more often!

Today I've been day dreaming of a new trip to Japan. I found a bunch of pictures from my trip to Osaka in 2011 on my computer, that I haven't showed you before.
But oh my, if there's a place in the world that makes me mute because of it's greatness, it's Japan.
Osaka is a big city with a lot of people, but still I felt like it was never too crowded. People walked systematically and public transportation never felt like a hell. And on top of this, people were so polite and nice. Everything's so different there compared to Europe and I think it's really fascinating!
I'm going to continue dreaming of going back... hope you enjoy the pictures!

My trip to New York in September was my fourth time in the city, but it's funny how much more I saw this time compared to all my earlier NY trips. Grand Central Terminal was one of the places I saw for the first time now. You maybe think it's crazy to think a train station is a must see, but for me it really was. I've always loved old train stations, there's just a certain special feeling in them.
People are usually rushing through the stations in a hurry, but it's refreshing to be a tourist and have the time to really stop and take a look around. Just got to make sure to not be the lost tourist who's in the way for everyone, people in the worst rush don't usually appreciate being blocked haha:D
Grand Central Terminal was exactly as beautiful and inspiring as I thought it would be!

Finally I have some NYC pictures to show you! I have a bunch of them so I'll show them in small doses.
First of all... take a look at the view over Greenland in the first picture... I think it was pretty amazing and I had my nose against the plane window for a good while when we flew over! Didn't see any polar bears though...

Anyway... our first whole day in NYC, we visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art and it surprised us how big it actually was! We spent there a good 3 hours and still we didn't see everything! But it was well worth a visit. After that we took a walk through the peaceful Central Park to Upper West Side. We walked a whole lot that day and that was just the beginning... but I think walking is absolutely the best way to see and explore cities!
