One weekend when it was really cold outside I got enough and decided to go some place warm. Sadly my budget wasn't big enough for a last minute travel deal to a warm beach, so I settled for a visit to the botanical garden in the city instead.

I'd never been there before so it was fun to be like a tourist and stroll around in the beautiful rooms filled with palm trees, flowers and green plants and enjoy the tropic warmth. This was a perfect small getaway from the cold day and it reminded me how simple ideas can be the best!
