On our second day in Kyoto it was a perfect sunny and warm weather so we decided to take a little walk along the Kamo River (Kamo-gawa in Japanese). The 31km long river was so beautiful and it was nice to just sit and watch the life around the river. A lot of Japanese enjoyed their Saturday by biking, some had picnics with their families and some hung out with their friends. Some even enjoyed playing by the water and I decided to cool off my feet in the slightly chilly water. After that my feet were ready to continue the walk back to the city...

  3. jamie: ohh, thank you dear for your sweet words! <3 We stayed in the central part of Kyoto. Our hotel was in Gojo, which was one subway station from the Kyoto Station (aka central station). It was a good location because it was really easy to travel from there to different temples and other attractions. Hope you get your badly needed vacation soon!! :) xx
